Rudolf Stingel at Palazzo Grassi, “The world belongs to us”

Venice is warming up waiting for the Biennale of Art!

The exhibition is Rudolf Stingel’s largest monographic presentation in Europe and offers a selection of paintings ranging from conceptual abstraction to figuration, presenting works never previously shown. It is also the first time, the museum devotes the whole exhibition area to the work of a single artist.

The entire interior of Palazzo Grassi has been covered in an Oriental patterned carpet, floors and walls. It seems a bit out of the ordinary for Venice but in my opinion it is a silent trip between west & east, a dedication to our history, Venice in the past was a junction of cultures thanks to the trade.

The walk through the palace is soft and muffled, like a dream.
